Did you know that rabbits have been kept as pets in Western countries since the 1800s? Rabbits that live indoors have a lifespan of four to ten years. They like to play around usually throwing toys and chewing on cardboard. In some households, rabbits even develop a close relationship with cats and dogs. Although often caged in small areas, rabbits can also be trained to roam freely just like cats and dogs. Caution, however, should be observed since their nature is to just chew anything they like including electric cords and carpet.
