Maintaining the health of pets guarantees long life and more happy and exciting days for pet owners. Good pet health does not only mean feeding them the right food. It is also about providing them with proper housing, care and affection. And since pets make wonderful companions at home, they deserve to be treated well and taken cared of by their human housemates.

In the U.S. and Canada, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the sole organization that accredits animal hospitals. The AAHA requires the highest quality standards from its accredited hospitals to make sure that pets are given the best possible care. It has also put up the AAHA Helping Pets Fund to aid sick and injured pets needing access to quality veterinary care.
