Advertising Cover – a feature that may be part of a dog insurance policy that takes care of advertising costs when an insured dog is lost or stolen.

Death Cover – another additional feature that may be offered in case your dog dies from an accident or illness, the dog-owner will be able to make a claim and will receive a small payout.

Pet care insurance – a type of insurance given out to pets that usually covers veterinary bills and treatments.

Pre-existing conditions – These are illnesses or conditions that occurred before a policy is taken out for the dog.

Premium – premium or insurance premium is the amount being paid the policy-holder, in this case the dog-owner, to the insurance company.
